WINEMAKING:

The 'Terre dei Bocci - Montecucco Sangiovese' is made of 100% Sangiovese grapes, and the fermentation takes place for a long period on the slop at controlled temperatures. The refining period is about 7-8 monts in french oak casks (Barriques). Afterwards it is put for antoher 4 months for ageing in bottles.

TASTING NOTES:


Colour: Intense and dark ruby red with typical grenade-red reflexes of ageing.

Smell: intensive and convincing fruitiness.

Taste: Rather tannic with a great structure and a full body. We suggest you to serve the wine in Bordeaux crystal glasses in order to appreciate the harmonious bouquet and at a temperature around 18-20°C. A good companion for red meats, medium aged cheese.
