WINEMAKING:
The grapes are grown in a 30 years old vineyard. Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese grapes were separately fermented at controlled temperature (26°C) with a maceration 21 days for the former and 14 days for the latter. The malolactic fermentation was completed within the end of November (for Cabernet Sauvignon in French barriques). The blend is prepared after the malolactic fermentation, the wine is refined in French barriques for 24 months and then in bottle at least 12-18 months.

TASTING NOTES:
Colour: A ruby garnish colour.

Smell: An intense fragrance of red fruits and traces of vanilla originated from the French oak.

Taste: A rich and tender flavour in a full-bodied wine with an excellent tannic concentration. We suggest you to serve the wine in wide and rounded crystal glasses in order to appreciate the harmonious bouquet and at a temperature around 18-20°C. A good companion for red meats, game, aged cheese.
