of painting in a horizontal format, which allowed
him to develop ornamental patterns"

Lorenzo Lotto was a north Italian painter of the
High Renaissance. The quality of his many religious
paintings and altarpieces is uneven.
He is best known for his psychologically penetrating
portraits, such as Young Man in a Striped Coat (1526,
Castello Sforzesco, Milan). His bold compositions
and deep, velvety colors enhance the dreamy, often
melancholy mood that is frequently seen in the faces
of his subjects.

Our business is focused
in the promotion and the trading of Italian beverage
products such as: wine, balsamic vinegar, olive oil
and grappa. We are developing this project establishing
B2B (Business to Business) relations between foreign
traders and Italian producers.
Red Bottle is the brainchild of two founders, Loris
Meliga and Marco Paonessa, with backgrounds in high
technology business management, food markets and a
respect for both innovation and tradition.

Red Bottle is proud to offer high quality products:
wines that exist in the shadows of corporate winemaking
and are made and handled with great care. The
company seeks out unusual and food-friendly blends
for the table of the adventurous and discerning
consumer.

MELIGA
(a matter of taste, a passion for wine...) |
I do not pretend to be a professional
sommelier, I try to think like a wine lover and
to expand my taste sensations. I
was born in 1970 in Reggio Emilia. I spent my
early years with my grandparents in their farm
between vines and fields of grain; the passion
for wine and food took my heart in this period.
At 18 years old I had my degreee in Business and
Trading Administration. I worked for the first
telecommunication company in Italy, Telecom Italia,
for the business and mobile division understanding
the importance of new technologies like Internet
and mobile communications. In 1997 I founded my
Internet business based company collaborating
in the meanwhile with other companies like Tecnomec,
involved in pump and food plant parts production.
Now my life experience continues in food and wine
market, reconnecting to the past flavors and scents
of when I was a little child...

MARCO
PAONESSA
(the color of passion, the taste of life...) |
I like to travel around the
wine roads of Italy.
I was born
in Salerno, near to Amalfitana Coast, in 1969. My
life experience? Degree in Science of Information
(1995) at University of Salerno, military in helicopter
base of Italian Army, employed for banking software
house and football
team. Since 1997 i live in Reggio Emilia where I
was employed in Industrial Automation and Telecomunications
companies, travelling a lot around the world. Now
I cover adminstrative and sale rule in SeaWeb Consulting
an Internet and telecommunications company having
interest in tourism and travels too. My passion
for wine started ever since I was younger, when
I used to drink a bottle of red wine together with
my friends while looking at fascinating sunsets.
Now my life experience continues, trying to transmit this passion to other people in the world...
